NOTICE

The Department of Immigration and Emigration has informed that tourists who are unsuccessful in making credit card payments for Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to travel to Sri Lanka, due to the ongoing upgrading and maintenance of the ETA front end system, will be issued On Arrival ETA (at the port of entry to Sri Lanka) as an alternative channel.

NOTICE

Kindly note that the Consul General and a considerable number of staff members of the Consulate General, Toronto have tested positive for COVID-19 and are undergoing quarantine as per the health guidelines issued by the Canadian Government.

Under these circumstances it has become difficult to operate the consular functions of this Post as usual and clients/public would experience slight delays in obtaining consular services.

The Consulate regrets any inconvenience caused to the public and will take all possible measures to normalize the consular functions as early as possible.
